• NAMHSA: SMSF is a NAMHSA Member SHOW!. Any horse winning a 1st or 2nd place in NAN qualifier classes will receive a ticket (green for halter, red for performance) that makes the horse eligible to show at North American Nationals in 2006 & 2007.

• JUDGES:

• Judges are allowed to enter any division they are not judging
• AWARDS: Flats through 6th place in all classes. Rosettes to Champs, Grand Champs and Overall Grands! Pottery Awards for Grand Champs courtesy of Stephanie Blaylock. Pour Horse Medallions for China Divsions. Mini Resins for Best in Show. Special prizes for fun/challenge classes and choice classes.
• SHOWHALL: With 10,000 sq ft and large tables, space is not at a premium, however, you are encouraged to enter early as space is not infinite and we hope to have allot of vendors as well as rings. Hall opens at 8:00am and classes start at 9:00 am on both days!
• VENDORS: Vendors are welcome and pay a table charge of $30.00, each additional table is $15.00. Space for vendors is dependent on number of entries. More info on the entry info page.
• SALES: Entrants are allowed to sell items. Sales are permitted from your table. Extra tables for sales will incur a vendor fee.
• AUCTION: We are planning on having a modest silent auction. We are seeking donation for the auction and plan to allow proxy bidding. More info can be found on the auction page.
• SCHEDULE & CLASSLIST: Please check the schedule and classlist pages.
• ENTRY INFO: The entry fee list, info and form can be found on the entry info page.
• LUNCH: An hour lunch break will occur AROUND noon as the classes fall. We will have snack food available all day and sandwiches (sat) and pizza (sun) will be catered for an additional optional fee for those who want to participate. For those who don't, numerous fast foot and restaurants are in the immediate area.
• HOTEL: Hotel info and rates can be found on the lodging page. We do not have a host this year but we recommend the Days Inn. We also recommend you make your reservations ASAP, wherever you stay.
• OTHER ACTIVITIES: If you plan on bringing friends and family, this is the right place to do it. There is literally unlimited amounts of attractions, events and activities to do and see. This area is home to the tallest peak in the Appalachian Mountains - Mt Mitchell, the Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock, Cold Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
