Free Entry!
There isn’t an entry fee. You just have to contact me to tell me you are coming. There is a limit of 10 showers due to space limitations. Entrants will be accepted on a first come basis. But there is a catch…
The Catch…
Nothing is ever really free. The show doesn’t have an entry fee, but that’s because you are judging! Every shower will judge each class. You’ll just skip over your own entries in each class. Artists will also skip over those horses they created.
So entrants will
need to bring the following:
1) Class awards - 40 sets of ribbons placed 1st-6th. Be creative and use anything you want – paper ribbons, stickers, candy. Just be sure the entrant has a way of knowing which placing they earned when the item is placed beside a horse, because we will only be writing down the results from each judge’s first and second place horses.
2) Championship awards - The entrant will also need to bring two inexpensive prizes
for the horses they select as Overall and Reserve. Again, be creative and bring anything you think a fellow hobbyist might enjoy.
This show is a pending NAN Qualifier. The first and second place horses in each class under each judge will be qualified for the Nationals in 2006 and 2007.
Info
It’s Lesli's house, so of course there will be a lot of food! Our plan is to have breakfast and lunch here, and head out to Zapata’s (assuming the Sheriff hasn’t closed it down like the last time) for dinner. Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions. Space will also be limited (we actually have furniture in all the rooms now), so we ask that non-showing guests be kept to a minimum.
A Few Rules
This show is open to any custom, artist resin or custom glazed model under 5½" and 2½" or less for foals.
Entrants will need to bring a TV tray, which will function as their ‘table’ for the show. Entrants may bring as many horses as they can fit on their tray. There are no individual class limits – just this limit that the showstring has to fit on the TV tray. It is also a good idea to bring something to contain your awards.
Horses should have their name, breed and owner initials on one side of their tag. (This eliminates the risks to the models from multiple hands flipping over tags.)
About PSPD
Pint-Sized Play Day is envisioned
as a show series. By alternating hosts, we can
enable more people to show, since that is the one person currently prohibited
from showing at a NAMHSA Qualifying Show. (The designated host will judge
but not show.) If you are interested in hosting a show, or in offering
your home (or other free venue) for future shows, please let Libby or
Lesli know.

Championships
Each judge
will name and Overall Champion and Reserve at the end of the show. Since
there is no callback, judges are encouraged to keep in mind throughout
the day that they will have to pick a first and second favorite in the
end!
Directions
It is easiest to get to the house by I-85. You will take the Mallard Creek Church Road exit, though be warned that the name rather quickly changes to Prosperity Church Road. Take that road approximately three miles until you get to the Devonshire subdivision. Turn left on Panthersville. Take Pathersville down to the second left, which is Lone Tree Ct. Lone Tree is a long, curved cul de sac (you cannot see the end when you enter), and we are at the very end. The house is a two-story tan with dark blue shutters and a large American flag beside the front door.
